NCS together with The Kensington Society and Clarendon Cross RA have worked hard to keep the last remaining pub in the Conservation Area from being sold for residential use. Since our pub has closed we have lost a community and social centre where we could meet up and share a drink, hold meetings, or hire a room for parties. At present an Enforcement Notice has been placed on the owners as NCS and Kensington Society believe that the top floors are being used illegally as a residential unit for commercial purposes. Meanwhile NCS will re-apply for the Asset of Community Value which lapses in December 2019.
